As always, a number of our events are offered on a donation basis. During our first eight years, we almost always suggested donations of at least $5. However, given the Center’s financial condition, it’s become necessary to increase the suggested donation to $10 for some of those events, and to $20 or more for a few. Please understand that donations are still entirely voluntary, that donations of every size are truly appreciated, and that we don’t want anyone to decide not to come to these events for financial reasons. The Center’s priority always is to be of service and fulfill our mission as a charitable organization, rather than to make a profit (we never have). Please support us to the extent you can and to the extent you feel the Center is of value to you.
Every Day - CASUAL TOURS AND GROUP SACRED SOUND SINGING BOWL SESSIONS by Jack Sisk. Everyone is welcome to visit the Center and see why so many people consider it one of the safest and most sacred place they’ve ever been. When time permits, Jack loves to introduce people to the facilities, programs and experiences the Center offers. The full tours include introductions to many religious/spiritual traditions, are very experiential, and frequently end with Jack playing and toning with at least one crystal singing bowl and often a large set of those bowls. A complete tour usually takes two or three hours, and at least three hours if the long-version of the bowls is included. The three-four hour tours are well worth the time, but you’re welcome to come for shorter tours. No appointment is necessary, but it’s wise to call to check Jack’s availability. Donations are requested to support the Center (at least $10 would be greatly appreciated, but the suggested donation for the long tours is $30 per person if the tour includes the one-hour version of the singing bowls, and $20 if it doesn’t); however, as always, donations are purely voluntary, and we don’t want people to avoid coming to the Center due to financial considerations.
By Appointment - GROUP RELIGION/SPIRITUALITY TOURS OF THE CENTER by Jack Sisk. Jack offers private group tours of the Center, exposing participants to a wide array of religions and spiritual traditions, and presenting numerous opportunities for powerful spiritual experiences, culminating in an hour-long crystal singing bowl performance including most of the Center’s bowls. These tours are very popular. They usually take three or four hours. Because of the time involved, private group tours are arranged in advance and usually are scheduled in mornings (before the Center opens) or sometimes in evenings so as to maximize the private time. A donation of at least $30 per person ($2/person for young students) is requested, and there‘s a minimum of four people. Note: We recently increased the requested minimum donation to $30 because the tours are such a lengthy and significant experience (people feel they’re really worth it).
Sunday - FAMILY GATHERING (TALKING CIRCLE), 12:15-1:45. We come together as a loving family to honor and celebrate each individual’s sacred identity and the divine reality that links us together. We connect to each other and to the one reality that underlies all religious and spiritual traditions. This is a sacred and confidential Talking Circle - we pass a talking stick and learn from each other. Everyone is committed to be loving and compassionate. You might hear readings from various traditions and authors, music from various cultures, and more. Considerable support and illumination are generated. Participation is encouraged, but not required. Donations are requested to support the Center (at least $10 would be greatly appreciated, if you can afford it).
Sunday - SILENT MEDITATION AND PRAYER GATHERING facilitated by Venerable Sha’ul Hirschmann, a senior ordained Buddhist priest with the Center for American Buddhist Practice (CABP), Venerable Dharmacharya, another teacher with CABP, or Jack Sisk, 4:30-5:15 pm. Each gathering centers on a 30 minute session of silence for meditation or prayer. This began as a meditation gathering, but we’ve decided to expand it to include people who would prefer to pray - everyone is invited! Brief meditation instruction is available if people arrive early, and the period of silence will be followed by an opportunity for discussion. Donations are requested to help support the Center and CABP (at least $10 would be greatly appreciated, if you can afford it).
Tuesday - SPIRITUAL STUDY GROUP - WHAT IS ENLIGHTENMENT facilitated by Russell Hayden, Tim Altpeter and others, 7:00-8:30. This study group was originally formed to discuss Neale Donald Walsch’s writings, but now addresses various current books, videos and subjects - for example, some of the past sessions focused on Eckhart Tolle’s The New Earth. Every week is a new experience. This very animated group rides the wave of current spiritual developments. Donations are requested to support the Center (at least $10 would be greatly appreciated, if you can afford it).
Thursday - REIKI/LOVE/ENERGY CIRCLE, 7:00-11:00. All energy healing modalities are welcome in this powerful circle of healing, spiritual energy. We often have 20 or more participants. This particular Circle is open only to practitioners in any energy modality. We start with a talking circle and meditation, and then share our healing energies. You may leave whenever you’re ready. Donations are requested to support the Center (at least $10 would be greatly appreciated, if you can afford it).
By Appointment - SACRED SOUND SINGING BOWL ATTUNEMENTS by Jack Sisk. Jack performs private attunements with eight crystal singing bowls (the largest of which is 32"), two metal singing bowls, toning, a didgeridoo, a large gong, two equally large drums, bells, and more. These are powerful spiritual and energetic experiences - virtually everyone feels the attunement is one of the most profound experiences they've ever had. The attunements typically take 2½ hours, and are strictly private (no observers). They’re performed on a love offering basis, but we request a donation of at least $100, if possible. Subsequent attunements are ninety minutes long, with a requested donation of at least $70. These sessions are by appointment only, and setting up the instruments takes considerable time and effort, so we request that a donation be made if you cancel on less than 24 hours notice. Please note that as mentioned earlier, Jack also offers intense, briefer singing bowl sessions for groups.
By Appointment - MEDITATION INSTRUCTION by Jack Sisk. Jack has considerable experience in Hindu and Buddhist meditation practices. He’s especially able to help beginning meditators get started. Donations are requested to support the Center (at least $10 would be greatly appreciated, if you can afford it).

Friday, September 3 - AUSTRALIAN DIDGERIDOO WORKSHOP: DISCOVERING THE SACREDNESS OF BREATH & SOUND by Phil Jones, 7:00-9:30. Our Australian Hindu yogi didgeridoo teacher is coming back! He’s been here a number of times, and we’ve always truly loved his programs. He’s a great and entertaining spiritual teacher, and he uses the didgeridoo as, in his words, “a meditation accelerator.” The didgeridoo is an ancient and sacred Australian Aboriginal instrument made from the eucalyptus tree, hollowed out by white ants, and you’ll learn how to play it. Playing the didg creates soothing and resonant harmonics that easily erase the ‘monkey chatter’ in the mind, enhancing mental clarity and emotional equanimity. Phil has been performing Sanskrit chants for over 40 years and will begin the evening with meditative chanting - setting up a wonderful vibrational atmosphere for the workshop, whereby the participants will be invited to tone and chant the OM mantra as he sings the chants. Didgeridoos will be provided for the workshop, and will be available for purchase. $20 if paid in advance, $25 at the door. If you can, please let us know you’re coming.

The suggested donation is at least $20, if you can afford it.

This ceremony (puja) is to honor and celebrate Green Tara, the mother of all Buddhas and the remover of obstacles. It also focuses on how to bring light into specific parts of the physical body and the subtle bodies. This will then be followed by Sai Maa Dikshas, which previously were known as Pure Light Blessings. These Dikshas are offered as a beautiful tool for transformation. There is no fee to participate in the Brain Illumination Meditation or receive the Dikshas, but love offerings are welcomed and will go entirely to the Center (as usual, a $10 donation to the Center is suggested). TENTATIVE DATE - Saturday, October 23 - SUFI ZIKR by Christopher Moinuddin Clarke, 3:00-4:30. Christopher is a prominent local Sufi. Zikr means remembrance of our divine nature, a practice of reunion with our true selves and with the Divine Reality. Zikr practice uses meditation, breath and attunement to the sacred names of God, enabling us to remember this reality within our hearts. As the great Sufi Hazrat Inayat Khan said, “By Zikr, the expression of the countenance becomes harmonious, the voice becomes melodious, the presence becomes healing, and one’s magnetism is spread in the atmosphere. There is nothing that by Zikr cannot be accomplished, either an earthly or a heavenly thing. Some by Zikr have liberated their souls from all bondages and attained ideal perfection...” The event includes teachings and chanting. We loved the first Zikr here so much that we’re going to make this a monthly event!. Donations are requested to support Moinuddin and the Center (at least $10 would be greatly appreciated, if you can afford it). If you can, please let us know you’re coming.
