EVERY DAY OR WEEK Back to top

Every Day - CASUAL TOURS AND GROUP SACRED SOUND SINGING BOWL SESSIONS by Jack Sisk.  Everyone is welcome to visit the Center and see why so many people consider it a home and one of the safest and most sacred place they’ve ever been.  When time permits, Jack loves to introduce people to the facilities, programs and experiences the Center offers.  These tours can include introductions to various religious/spiritual traditions, and frequently end with the playing of the set of crystal singing bowls that everyone loves.  A complete tour, including the bowls, can take over three hours.  No appointment is necessary, but it’s wise to call to check Jack’s availability.  Donations are requested to support the Center (at least $5 or $10 would be greatly appreciated, but donations are always voluntary).

By Appointment - GROUP RELIGION/SPIRITUALITY TOURS OF THE CENTER by Jack Sisk.  Jack offers 3-hour tours of the Center, exposing participants to a wide array of religions and spiritual traditions, and presenting opportunities for powerful spiritual experiences, culminating in a crystal singing bowl performance.  These tours are very popular with schools, churches and senior groups, among others.  A donation of at least $5 or $10 per person ($2/person for young students) is requested, and there‘s a minimum of four people.  These tours usually are scheduled in mornings (before the Center opens).  Please call to schedule.

By Appointment - SACRED SOUND SINGING BOWL ATTUNEMENTS by Jack Sisk.  Jack performs private attunements with eight crystal singing bowls (the largest of which is 32"), two metal singing bowls, toning, a didgeridoo, a large gong, two equally large drums, bells, and more.  These are powerful spiritual and energetic experiences - virtually everyone feels the attunement is one of the most profound experiences they've ever had.  The attunements typically take 2½ hours, and are strictly private (no observers).  They’re performed on a love offering basis, but we request a donation of at least $100 if possible.  Subsequent attunements are one-hour long, with a requested donation of at least $60.  These sessions are by appointment only, and setting up the instruments takes considerable time and effort, so we request that a donation be made if you cancel on less than 24 hours notice.  Please note that as mentioned earlier, Jack also offers intense, briefer singing bowl sessions for groups.

Sunday - FAMILY GATHERING, 12:15-1:45.  We come together as a loving family to honor and celebrate each individual’s sacred identity and the divine reality that links us together.  We connect to each other and to the one reality that underlies all religious and spiritual traditions.  This is a sacred and confidential Talking Circle - we pass a talking stick and learn from each other.  Everyone is committed to be loving and compassionate. You might hear readings from various traditions and authors, music from various cultures, and more.  Considerable support and illumination are generated.  Participation is encouraged, but not required.  Donations are requested to support the Center (at least $5 or $10 would be greatly appreciated).

ON HIATUS, CHANGING - Previously Sunday - MEDITATION GATHERING.  Everyone is invited to meditate in a group.  Participants find that the Center’s sanctuaries are exceedingly peaceful and powerful environments for  meditation.  Practice your own approach or learn from others (come early if you’d like some suggestions). Donations are requested to support the Center (at least $5 would be greatly appreciated).   Note: We’re tentatively planning to start having a daily meditation session, from 11:30 until noon.  Please let us know if you’d be interested.

Tuesday - SPIRITUAL STUDY GROUP facilitated by Russell Hayden and Tim Altpeter, 7:00-8:30.  This study group was originally formed to discuss Neale Donald Walsch’s writings, but now addresses various current books, videos and subjects - for example, some of the recent sessions have focused on Eckhart Tolle’s The New Earth.  This group rides the wave of current spiritual developments.  Donations are requested to support the Center (at least $5 or $10 would be greatly appreciated).

Thursday - REIKI/LOVE/ENERGY CIRCLE, 7:00-11:00.  All energy healing modalities are welcome in this powerful circle of healing, spiritual energy.  We often have 20 or more participants.  This particular Circle is open only to practitioners in any energy modality (we offer a Circle open to anyone on the second Sunday of each month from 5:00 until 7:00).  We start with a talking circle and meditation, and then share our healing energies.  You may leave whenever you’re ready.  Donations are requested to support the Center (at least $5 or $10 would be greatly appreciated).

Please call at (314) 749-1572 for more information or appointments.

MONTHLY & SPECIAL EVENTS Back to top

Friday, October 10 - ANANDA JYOTIR DIKSHAS by Joe Boncek, 2:00-5:00.  Meditation teacher Joe Boncek will return to offer free Ananda Jyotir Dikshas. We’re planning for this to be a weekly event..  As Joe explains:

Ananda Jyotir Diksha comes from the Shaivite spiritual lineage that includes HH Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi (Joe’s teacher), Master Jesus, Mahavatar Babaji, Lord Matreiya, Lord Shiva and many other great Masters. Diksha, or initiation, is the physical transference of divine energy, or light, directly into the brain, which initiates the process of Enlightenment. This transmission of energy, of Light, of consciousness, of Shakti restructures the Brain and brings it into its original illumination. Diksha is the resplendent Light of the Self, God and Spirit flowing through your soul, transmuting seeds of karma. Diksha cleanses the mind, heart, emotions and personality of impurities and desires that have stood in the way of inner Truth, awareness, life, and healing. This transformation of brain functions allow your awareness to move into a higher frequency and a deeper state of meditation. Over time this transformation begins to stabilize itself. This means that this state of awakening, this first step of Enlightenment, starts to become permanent.

This is akin to the Sacred Energy and Divine Light Transmissions which Joseph Knapp provided during his numerous visits to the Center. Although Joe uses the term “diksha” or “initiation,” the experience does not initiate you into a spiritual lineage.

Each transmission is personal (one on one) and takes about 10 minutes. It’s first come, first served. People who’ve already received transmissions are welcome to come again.

Friday, October 10 - DREAM MEDICINE CIRCLE (held on the second Friday of each month) by Mary Novak, 7:00-9:00.  A gathering of dreamers, DreamKeepers, and other people interested in dream language.  Mary is a Shamanka DreamKeeper who will share her dream wisdom and the dream practices of the spirit of the primordial grandmothers.  This monthly sacred cycle tradition will put into practice a bridging of your waking and dream states.  The Circle will open you through group dreaming projects, practices from goddess, Tibetan and indigenous dream cultures, daily dream journaling, creative expressions through dreaming, and awareness of the three levels of dreaming.  The level of your awareness in the night medicines helps determine the level of your healing and awareness while awake. $20.  Please register in advance.  For more information, please see Mary’s website - http://people.tribe.net/dreamkeeper (exactly as written).

There are no prerequisites, but if you have a drum, bring it.
