When Jack Sisk, 52, of Frontenac established the Living Insights Center in May 2001, he intended it to be a spiritual center honoring many of the world's major religions. Little did he know that four months later, in the aftermath of Sept. 11, diversity would become a major part of the zeitgeist, as Americans scrambled to understand Islam and the world's nations joined together to fight terrorism.
